The Magna Charta Observatory consists of two bodies, one of which is the Collegium and the other is the Board of Directors.

The Collegium is responsible for pursuing the aims of the Magna Charta Observatory and is its public voice. It consists of five members, chosen among those playing a leading role in the defense of the fundamental university values and rights.

All Collegium members shall be formally appointed by the Board of directors:

Prof. Andrei Marga, Former Rector at the "Babes-Bolyai" University of Cluj, Romania

Prof. Fabio Roversi-Monaco, Former Rector Università di Bologna, Italy

Prof. Christina Ullenius, Former Rector University of Karlstad, Sweden
