Dr. Jens Jungblut M.A.
Jens Jungblut currently holds a post-doctoral researcher position at the International Center for Higher Education Research (INCHER) at the University of Kassel in Germany where he coordinates the center’s work in the area of Governance and Organization. Prior to his position at INCHER he was a PhD research fellowship at the Department of Education at the University of Oslo, where he also taught in the Master program on Higher Education, especially in the area of higher education policy and research methods. Prior to his work in Oslo he worked as a member of the BA/MA Team at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz, supporting the Bologna Process implementation on the institutional level. In 2008-2009 he was a member of the Student Union Development Committee at the European Students' Union. His current research interests include among others higher education policy and governance, the influence of political parties on higher education policy, student unions, higher education in Sub-Saharan Africa, and organizational change of higher education institutions. Mr. Jungblut received his MA in Political Science from the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz.
His mandate as Council member started on May 28th, 2010 and his second mandate will expire the 27th May, 2018.
