More than 1,000 universities worldwide have signed the Magna Charta Universitatum.
Support from signatory universities helps sustain this global network and its activities.
It enables the Magna Charta Observatory to advance and defend the fundamental values of higher education worldwide, including academic freedom, institutional autonomy and the social responsibility of universities.
Contributions support:
- international conferences and webinars,
- research initiatives,
- publications and resources,
- advocacy for academic freedom and university autonomy,
- global dialogue among universities,
- support for universities facing challenges related to fundamental values.
As the activities and international engagement of the Magna Charta Observatory continue to grow, additional financial support is essential to sustain and further develop our work.
Whilst we continue to seek external funding opportunities, we warmly welcome voluntary contributions from signatory universities and other organisations wishing to support the Observatory’s mission.
