The webinar

This webinar ‘Cascading conversations towards deriving the Durban University of Technology’s Living Values Framework’ will share their story.

Webinar attendees will discover unique perspectives and powerful insights on how ‘lived experiences’ notably, of DUT people with respect to the institution’s then espoused values, of how institutional culture pathologies and also the prevailing moral/ethical socio-economic conditions in the country at large advocated for a values- and principles- based institutional strategy, a strategy named ENVISION2030.

DUT will also unveil the path from ENVISION2030 to ‘intentionally’ adopting the internationally acclaimed  ‘Living Values Project’ methodology towards ‘enacting’ the derivation of our own home-grown LVF.

Attendees will be taken on a journey of the series of conversations that DUT engaged in to arrive at its espoused values and principles, the deeper distillation of their respective definitions and behaviour statements, tailored to resonate with the entire DUT community in its different categories, namely all DUT people, students, staff, managers, structures/committees.
