The question for the MCO’s third essay competition was:

 

“Drawing on your own experience, how might your university engage more effectively with stakeholders both to improve both access to higher education for all and enhance the learning experience of students?”

 

Ninety-four entries were received from 37 countries and the judges had a hard task to identify the five winners. 

 

Three of the winners will be presenting their essays online and discussing the issues surrounding them. They will also be sharing their experience of the prize, which was participation in the World Access to Higher Education Network meeting and World Access to Higher Education Day conference in Cape Town in October.
